is another professional sailor who, given the choice, prefers to sail alone. Based in Rome, he has been sailing since the age of 15 and has considerable experience as a delivery skipper, offshore instructor and marine structural engineer. Feberico says of the Race: "The best thing about the 2018 GGR is that it celebrates not only the efforts of those sailors who took part in the 1968 Race, but the earlier pioneers like Joshua Slocum, Vito Dumas, Francis Chichester, David Lewis and Ann Davison."
